I have met discerning night owls all over the world and they have enriched my life immeasurably with their artistic abilities, stories, laughter kindness and support. Meeting and bringing together people who are good at what they do and do what they love is what I enjoy. And the delicate thread that binds it all together and gives it colour and depth is music.
We are aiming to create a platform for the meaningful exchange of stories, ideas and music, to share moments of fun and beauty with empathy.
The expression “bread and circuses“ captures a certain cynical political view that the masses can be kept happy with fast food and faster entertainment . In the Roman Empire, it was bread and chariot races and gladiatorial games that filled the belly and distracted the mind, allowing emperors to rule as they saw fit.
