Italian born and German raised, Bellville has been influenced by various musical genres and cultural diversity. This becomes apparent when listening to the recent stream of releases that have made their way out of the studio and released on the Incroyable Music label.
2018 has been a magical year for Bellville so far. He contributed a podcast for Deep House Amsterdam’s unique mix series and released the “Tankwa Desert” EP inspired by his gigs in South Africa. The music video for this track was made by the talented filmmaker Chris Piotrowicz and was shot in Cape Town and at Afrikaburn.
With 10-plus years of hosting events in Germany behind him, Bellville co-founded the Incroyable label in 2015 which has grown to welcome the likes of Fabio Vanore and Fennec & Wolf amongst others, which together with a handful of guest mix appearances have all combined to give the label a number of Top 100 Beatport spots over the last few years. Bellville’s first entry into the studio took place at the same time that the label was born and was received with much success. His reinterpretation of Nils Frahm’s “Them” was inspired by the motion picture “Victoria” as a first offering from this label gained massive respect around the world.
In 2017 Bellville collaborated with vocalist Paul Brenning to create the ‘Illusions’ EP, which was also remixed by fellow label head Fennec & Wolf and Belgian artist DkA, receiving stellar feedback from the DJ community. His next offering came as the ‘Geremeas’ EP, a three-track selection that featured a remix from Hannes Bieger, which, when listening to will be clear to see why Bellville has the regular support of artists such as Maceo Plex, Laurent Garnier and Nicole Moudaber. Ever since he started releasing tracks over the past few years his work from the studio have excelled and positioned him as an artist with impeccable skills and vision.
As a DJ, Bellville’s sets have taken him around the world, playing Ibiza’s
Ushuaia Tower, Barcelona’s La Terrrazza, Berlin’s Katerblau, Istanbul, Cape Town, Dubai, Morocco, Les Deux Alpes in France and festivals like Burning Man, Afrikaburn, Kilifi in Kenya and Oregon Eclipse in the United States. Be prepared to witness inspiring levels of energy and a wide variety of house, melodic techno and deep tunes. Spending a lot of time in the studio, and with a number of new creative projects in the pipeline, one thing to be sure of is that Bellville is set to continue his journey with inspiring productions and DJ sets.
