What’s new at Wonderfruit 2017
01/11/2017The 4th instalment Asia’s most charming boutique festivals will be upon us in just over a month. Due to last year’s passing of Thailand’s beloved King, Wonderfruit 2016 exceptionally was moved back to February this year. So fora second time this year, we will get a chance to sample an exquisite selection of food, music and art in the grounds of the Siam Country Club Pattaya and of course indulge Thailand’s second to none hospitality and natural beauty.
An exciting new collaboration this year sees the team from Altn8, central Hong Kong’s electronic music festival create their own area within Wonderfruit and add a fresh new aspect to the multi-faceted culture event taking place in Thailand on 15th and 16th of December. The partnership will see ALTN8 deliver a specially curated two-day experience of world-class music, and out-n-out good times with new bars and chill out areas to enjoy the entertainment.
Reminiscent of and inspired by iconic festivals like Burning Man and Secret Garden Party, Wonderfruit 2017 will not disappoint in the arts department either with impressive permanent structures brought to life with dramatic performances.
And if you are thinking of bringing the family, this year’s expanded dedicated kid zone, Camp Wonder, is teaming up with Roong Aroon, a school with a philosophy of holistic learning through creativity and Buddhist principles. Their activities promise to take little ones beyond art and open their minds to the world around them.
